Delete your Folio data
Folio has no account and no document server, so we hold no copy of your documents or personal data to delete. Everything lives on your phone, and you can remove it yourself in a minute.
Delete one document
Open the document in Folio, tap the menu (three dots) and choose delete. The document moves to Trash. To remove it for good, open Trash and delete it permanently or empty Trash.
Delete a saved signature
Open your signature library in Folio and remove the signature you no longer want. A signature that was already placed on a signed document is part of that document; delete the document to remove it.
Delete all Folio data from your phone
- Open Android Settings, then Apps, then Folio.
- Tap Storage and choose Clear storage (or Clear data).
- To remove the app as well, tap Uninstall.
Either step deletes Folio’s private data on that device, including documents, scans, signatures, library information and local purchase records. Exact menu names vary by Android version and device maker.
Copies outside Folio
If you shared or saved a copy to another app, your Downloads folder, email or a cloud service, delete it there. Folio cannot remove files that now live in other places.
Data held by Google
Ads, consent and the Remove Ads purchase involve Google services, which keep their own records under Google’s policies. We cannot erase those through Folio. You can manage them with your Google Account, Android’s ad settings and the Ad privacy choices option in Folio under Settings → Ads & purchases. Purchases and refunds are handled in Google Play.
